Pastor Brandon Scott, along with his wife of 19 years, Tonya, and their five children, Ethan, Micah, Olivia, Judah, and Esther, answered the call to serve as the lead pastors of the Kenai Church Of God over the summer of 2021. Although the Scott family is new to this role in ministry, they are not new to ministry. While Brandon was in the field of restaurant management and Tonya was a high school educator, they always knew that they had a call on their lives to serve vocationally in ministry.

Prior to serving as lead pastors here in Kenai, they served where they could in music, youth, Sunday School, etc. “The need is the call” is a motto that they have lived by and the Lord has used it to help train and educate them in the many different aspects of a family church.

Most recently, the Scotts served as full time worship pastors in Fredericksburg, VA, where Brandon completed his degree in Pastoral Ministries via Lee University and obtained his credentials as a minister in the Church of God.

Tonya Scott is an anointed worship leader and teacher of the Word of God. She just completed her master’s degree in Ministry Studies focusing on Christian Leadership and is currently leading a women’s Bible study every Thursday morning, teaching our Kenai Kids class on Wednesday night, keeping our social media accounts up to date and passionately seeking the presence of the Lord by leading us to the throne room every Sunday morning.
